Time for a (small) change

Changes are happening at Futuna Chapel with a new name and new people bringing in fresh ideas and abilities within the Chapel and beyond in 2024.

What once was the ‘Friends of Futuna Chapel’ is now ‘Futuna Chapel Trust’ – that’s right, we’ve changed our name.

Coinciding with the establishment of the Futuna Chapel Fund with Nikau Foundation, a decision was made to give the Chapel’s governing body a name that would better convey our purpose. The goals of the Trust remain unchanged and we will still be working hard to care for the Chapel and ensure its presence for future generations.

Keep an eye out for our new logo and name coming out on all our communications and printed material.

It doesn’t end there! Adding to our name change we also have three new trustees, David Marshall, Ian Pike and Barbara Fill as well as our first executive assistant/marketing and communications manager, Jo Schott and new book keeper James Tripe.

We have farewelled Liz Aston who has retired from the Board along with Roger Shand, Lianne Cox and Graeme Rule and thank them for their valuable contributions to the Futuna Chapel Trust.
