The Futuna Chapel Trust is delighted to present a special documentary screening programme as part of the Futuna Lecture Series 2026 and the Aotearoa Festival of Architecture. With the generous permission of documentary maker Catherine Hunter, audiences in Aotearoa New Zealand will have the rare opportunity to see two films she has written and directed about internationally acclaimed Australian architect Glenn Murcutt.

Catherine Hunter has worked with Glenn Murcutt for more than 30 years, recording his reflections, teachings, and architectural practice. The screenings will offer a unique insight into Murcutt’s work, influence, and legacy, with Hunter and Sydney architect Nick Sissons sharing their experiences of working alongside one of Australia’s most distinguished architects and the 2002 Pritzker Prize winner.
